The Quality Matters Stipend Program is designed to provide financial incentives for program directors, teaching staff, family child care owners/staff at FIRST 5 Santa Clara County Quality Matters sites and Family Resource Center staff in Santa Clara County and selected programs from Quality Counts San Benito to pursue their professional development activities.
The QUALITY MATTERS Stipend Program also partners with the San José Public Library to offer stipends to participants in their Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) Caregiver Support Network. FFNs are license-exempt caregivers who care for children ages 0-8, and they include grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbors, babysitters, nannies, etc. A FFN cares for children in addition to or other than their own children. This program is operated by the San José Public Library and interested FFN providers can learn more information by clicking here.
